# Confirm real payments

> Shopify Payments active, test mode off, before anything installs.

>
> **Nothing gets rebuilt today, and the installer does not run again.** Everything you set up carries over: your live store inherits the app, the database, and the scheduled jobs the moment it installs.

* In your live store's Shopify admin, go to **Settings > Payments**.
* Confirm **Shopify Payments** is active, and that test mode is off.
* You'll see your real payout account and no orange test-mode banner.
